Hi Everyone! Glad you came to visit our website! Camp Oak Hill is an awesome summer co-ed residential Christian camp and a year-round retreat facility located on 100 acres in Oxford, NC (one hour north of Raleigh).
Camp Oak Hill is the fruit of visionary business and community leaders who saw opportunity for a unique camp dedicated to Christian values and leadership development.
Its founders rescued the abandoned Oak Hill High School and gymnasium by acquiring them and the surrounding land for the new camp in 1974.
Starting with the aged shells of the school building and gym, Camp leaders have gradually added a dining hall (250 seat), lighted all-weather tennis courts, horses and equestrian facilities, swimming pool, 4 double-cabins and 4 single-cabins with bath facilities, a climbing wall, 2 lakes (3 acre & 9.5 acre), double 40 foot zip-line, beach, and a brand new low ropes challenge course. A 10,000 square footActivity & Fellowship Center was added in May 2005.
Camp has grown from 33 participants at its first summer session in 1976 to serving more than 5,000 individuals at camp, adult retreats, and conferences year-round today.
