Heads of Staff
The Heads of Staff (1 male & 1 female) are responsible for helping oversee and encourage the 2012 summer staff, including camp counselors, service crew, and kitchen assistants.
Qualifications:
- A rising junior or senior in college, or recent college graduate
- Profess a strong faith in Christ and solid Biblical understanding
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to relate and work well with people from varying backgrounds
- Self-starter - ability to plan & lead activities without much supervision
- Sets a positive example to staff and campers through actions & words
- Flexibility
- Strong leadership skills
- A strong desire to work with and encourage college students in their faith development and service
Responsibilities:
- Assist Camp Director in overseeing all summer staff
- Plan and lead all staff Bible Studies
- Work with other Head of Staff to plan and organize fellowship activities for the staff (both in and out of camp)
- Build relationships with the staff through Bible Study, fellowship, and offering encouragement and assistance when needed
- Assist Camp Director in staff evaluations, including weekly “check-ins” with all male/female staff.
