Activities



Archery
Campers are taught by a certified counselor how to shoot arrows using both small and large bows at 10-ring targets safely and effectively.

Arts & Crafts
Arts and Crafts are offered to campers of all ages.

BB Riflery
Campers are taught gun safety as well as proper technique as they use air-powered rifles aimed at fixed targets.

Boating
Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats are available for use. Campers are taught proper safety and handling techniques of the various boats.

Field Games
Softball, baseball, kickball, soccer, volleyball, etc. Campers will enjoy these team sports while being taught the rules and fundamentals of the game.

Frisbee Golf
Campers are instructed in how to complete a frisbee golf course, along with aspects of playing ultimate frisbee.

Fishing
Campers are allowed to bring fishing poles and tackle with them to camp. This is not a rotation activity but can be done during designated free time.

Gym Activities
Campers can play basketball, four square, dodge ball, volleyball, knockout, etc. The options are endless in this gym rotation.

Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is offered to campers of all ages, but space is limited and requires signup and fee. This beginning experience allows each camper to enjoy all aspects of equestrian skills, such as barn/horse safety, grooming, and riding.

Low Ropes Course
Our new 14-element low ropes course is great for promoting teamwork and building problem-solving skills.

Swimming
Camp Oak Hill has a swimming pool that is available in season and equipped with a slide. Certified lifeguards are on duty during all pool activities.

Tennis
Campers enjoy Camp Oak Hill's four tennis courts. Great for doubles or singles! Counselors spend time with campers teaching them the different rules and aspects of the game, such as serving, forehand, and backhand strokes.

Zip Line
The double 47-foot zip line tower is alot of fun for campers. Must weigh a minimum of 80 pounds. Certified trained counselors supervise this activity.
